Winthrop University Clarinet Choir

The Winthrop University Clarinet Choir is open to clarinet players in the Winthrop University Department of Music and the greater Winthrop community.  This ensemble allows students the opportunity to play various styles of music and they perform at Winthrop as well as around the area, including local high schools and regional music festivals.  The group performs as a large ensemble and in smaller chamber groups.  In addition, participation in the ensemble gives players the opportunity to improve their skills on harmony clarinets, work on their conducting and coaching skills, and arrange or compose music to be performed by the ensemble.

Instrumentation: E-flat soprano, B-flat clarinet, A clarinet, Alto clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Contra-alto clarinet, Contra-bass clarinet
